There are multiple systems layered together to create Normal steering. Forza is known for being controllable and natural on a gamepad and these systems are a major component of that feeling. Having the option to choose between “Normal” or “Simulation” steering is the assists menu is one of the reasons so many players of different skill levels can enjoy Forza games, whether using a gamepad or a wheel. This is a commonly misunderstood setting, so it’s important to give this a read. You can adjust this in the game's Steering Sensitivity slider in the Advanced Wheel Settings section below. On the PC you can run 540 degrees from software, but the steering lock in game remains unchanged, so your ratio would differ from the default. Please make sure that you have updated your BIOS firmware for on board sound cards. Disabling that output may resolve the issue. If you are not getting in game sounds and your PC has more than one Audio Output (Speakers/headphones/HDMI/Display Port etc.) please check that the audio isn't being routed to an alternate output. Change the default format to be 16bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) or 0 Hz as the output format (please try both). ![]() When the game audio is being rendered at a different sample rate and bit depth to the native Windows settings, you may experience audio crackling or no audio at all.
